Cyclo Users - which way to use polisher?

A Cyclo has two heads.

When making passes over an area (let's imagine it's from left to right) do you do it so you are using the heads in horizontal orientation:

--> OO -->

Or in vertical orientation

--> O -->

--> O -->

Or does it actually matter?!

I polish using the horizontal method mostly. Then hit it at a diagonal and then up and down if that makes any sence. That way the whole area has been worked three times minimal.

As long as you effect uniform/even coverage of the areas being worked it shouldn't matter. I sometimes use it in figure-8 motions where there's no pause at the end of a stroke, I find this makes good practice for the rotary.

Thanks both.

I was just reading/watching the info on this thread Cyclo Usage and it looks a lot more intuitive than the PC.

Apologies if I seem a little overly cautious but I'd sooner be a PITA by asking too many questions than dive on in and do something stupid through not asking enough.

Edited to say it appears I actually asked this question several months back when I had my previous car (which I never got round to fully using the Cyclo on) oops! :nervous:

hutchingsp- Heh heh, no harm no foul on either count :D Once you start using it I bet you'll get the hang of it in no time.
