Decided to take the plunge and get one, huh? I sure love mine. Can't help with the price, I got mine from TOL too.
Maybe consider making your own finishing pads. The 4" ones I've bought were always contaminated with Velcro slubs, and it's a REAL pain to pick them out of the foam. Anthony has suggested getting some bigger finishing pads and just cutting out 4" pieces of them to use with the Cyclo, which sounds like great advice to me. The Cyclo finishing pads aren't the softest anyhow. Soft enough, but MAN are those little bits of velcro a hassle.
Other ideas:
Get an extra set of cutting pads and some of TOL's suede-style MF bonnets. I really like removing LSPs with this combo. It seems to "burnish" the surface better than hand removal.
Consider the carpet cleaning brushes. The Cylco is VERY good when used that way. In the winter, I keep one Cyclo set up like this all the time.
Heh heh, if you want to economize, get some Meg's #16 instead of the P21S. I'd rather spend the $ on Cyclo accessories.
