Cyclo price is going up!

Auto Geek sent me a discount notice on different products today.

One notice was that the Cyclo polisher was going to have a company price increase on March 30, 2007. I just thought anyone contemplating buying one would like to know.

Yes, Cyclo is going to a new pricing strategy. Years ago, there was one in place. I think the new one states that you can't sell the machine for less than 15% of MSP. The older one was that you could not sell it for less than $249 or $259. This goes for pads and accessories as well. This will keep the playing field more level and since they have the new balanced pads and better backing on the foam pads, Cody and Cyclo should continue to do well- they also have very good customer service.

I am sure everyone that missed opportunity to get one for $180 during Nick's going out of business sale is now :wall

WCD, nice to hear from you, I already have mine (if you remember) and a load of pads?

I thought maybe the guys that might be contemplating purchasing one had better get on the ball before the increase.

I just finished trying to buy a Metabo from Ace tool. It was implied that with a discount code I could get it for 228.00 with shipping, but when I got to the final checkout window, they wanted another $12.00 or so for shipping! That ended that! I just hate it when they try to take advantage of you.

That is frustrating, for sure. I would check on Ebay..I was on there last night. I left my Makita in CA. and am looking for a used one. After the training at AI, I don't want to wait until Aug. before getting home to CA. to practice. What gets me is that I looked right at my Makita when packing and thought, "Nah, I won't have use for it this year." Coulda, woulda, shoulda!!!

Well, why didn't you call them and handled it with customer service?
