I want to order some from the U.S.A but before I do I have a question to Cyclo users.

Are all Cyclo pads made equal (quality wise) or are there different makers?

I want to get the very best there is.

Please recomend the best brands and the cheapest sellers;)

I wand to save on the best:D

All the Cyclo pads *I've* seen appeared to be from the same manufacturer. Whether I got them from Cyclo or TOL, I couldn't tell any difference. I just get mine from TOL.

I sorta like Anthony's idea- get Lake pads and cut Cyclo-size ones out of them. I like Lake's finishing pads a lot better than Cyclo's. And no velcro slubs.

I agree here with Accumulator, Cyclo pads are all from the same manufacturer, you can get them from Cyclo direct or contact Irene at Top of the Line

It would be cool if a company, like Lake Country, would make pads for the Cyclo:)

I'm new here, but feel free to go the Sponsor page and click on WC Detailing Products; Online Detailing Store. I sell those pads. The newer yellow ones are much thicker than the old ones. I had one detailer have them fall apart on one job. I sent him new ones and haven't heard back. I have used all the pads and they work fine. I like the green polishing pads the best..white are nice for applying sealants and waxes.

With our current discount, you can find it on our sponsored forum, the pads are probably the least expensive. Our discount has no min. order.

Hope that helps,

WCD- When did they update the yellow pads? I'm just wondering which I have (BTW, I've never had a problem with them, Cyclo pads always last a *long* time).

The Cyclo (genuine Cyclo) pads will last *forever* if you take care of them. Just drop them in a bucket of warm soapy water when they get dirty (maybe a third of the way through your car) and gently wring them out and let dry. We get 20 to 30 cars per average pair of their pads and do not get performance like that from others. I guess because they are hand made, they are not as pretty from the back (velcro) side, but they sure do last. The only time we had a velcro separation was when one of our people washed out a pair of pads in mineral spirits. We called the factory (found at cyclotoolmakers.com) and learned that solvents should _never_ (emphasis theirs) be used for that.

Unrelated, but we also like those diapers and terry bonnet covers that Irene has -- not sure where they come from.

I'm sure not going to go cutting my own foam. Rather be driving or biking.
