Customers wanting to do their own work...

I had a client want a $50.00 price reduction because his wheel's were already clean and didn't require any attention. Mind you the actual appointment would be taking place a couple weeks from the initial conversation (i wonder how clean they'd be then) I never actually did his car, just couldn't be bothered to deal with price hagglers.



I also had a client agree to a price for the work beforehand and when he shows up gives me the keys and says so $xxx?, undercutting my original price by $100. No thanks. lol

How did that conversation pan out? I've had that a couple times and hate dealing with it.
 
I told him that I would do half of the car for that price. He opted for the full vehicle treatment after that.

Really ? People actually still try that type of rude nonsense ??
 
once had someone try to pull that and then got offended that I politely told him that I wouldn't do it for that price (he wanted wash clay paint correction and wax for $75) and gave him his keys back and said for that money he was welcome to go down the road for the machine wash and the "hot wax" treatment.
