I use NL as my main interior dressing. I then use the 1Z for weekly interior detailing. I love BOTH products.

Interesting that a few Autopians don't treat the dashtops with a dressing. I usually don't either, but then most of my vehicles aren't parked in the sun very much (at least without a windshield shade). Having had some vehicles where the dash top *did* suffer UV damage, I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.

I usually treat them once or twice a year and try to wipe off as much of the dressing as I can. I figure a little infrequent treating is better protection than none.
I've been pretty much with you on this. Until I discovered 303 I never put anything on my dash -- Well, at least since the 60's.;) I've developed a kind of blind faith in this stuff. Partly because of the fact that it's biggest users are for swimming pool/sauna owners and the boating industry. That's the only kind of stores you can even find it at locally. I haven't seen it in any of the auto stores locally. And their claims. Yes, I know, everyone makes the same such claims about their products. That's why I call it a sort of blind faith.:D I DO wipe it off immediately though like it says to. Except on my tires where I like the slightly shinier look you get by leaving it on.

I like "One Grand Do-It-All +" and use it on my Mazda 3.

Nice scent and buffs off nicely and its just a notch above matte finish.

FWIW,

Regards,

I use NL as well and IMO leaves a better matte finish than 303. The color of the dash I used 303 on and had the promblem with was like a dark charcoal gray. It looked very nice at the time and the customer agreed also. I also polished the windshield, so maybe just maybe that could of made the reflection a little more worse:nixweiss

Nothing is matte like Cockpit Premium...except water, LOL.

I like to use CP as my interior QD. I have not tried my 303 out yet, but use the 1Z Plastic & Vinyl Cleaner then 1Z TP or Poorboy's NL once a month and use the CP as my weekly remove the dust & light dirt product.

1Z TP is matte in comparison to most products however compared to CP it is satin. NL is a tad shiny...you cannot buff my dash without causing streaks...when I use NL I wait a day and then wipe with a damp mf towel. NL is fine on the textured part of my door panels and most smooth plastic. It becomes much more glossy on textured plastic and vinyl (at least on my car). NL looks pretty good on tires too, BTW.

If someone things 303 is too shiny I would not use NL as a substitute unless you could buff some of it out. I'd use CP for them.

I'd be very surprised if 303 looked as shiny as described here on all various dashboards of the same color. Sure sounds like the texture and compostion of the material of dashboard to dashboard has an effect on how shiny the 303 is. A very similar situation is the case for the same tire dressing used on different brands and models of tires. Often the shine will look different.

1Z Cockpit Premium for flat (use on dash)

i dilute 303 50/50 with water for medium satin (use on doors + interior trim)

or Armorall at like 1:3 armor:water for medium gloss
