Cup of hot tea spilled on car seat

Hello, a cup of hot tea spilled in the family's car so I'm looking for ways to get this done correctly. I'm thinking a carpet cleaner, like Resolve, might help but I'm not too sure.

I would appreciate if you guys can share some ways one can remove stains and smells. The seat is fabric and light in color.

Thanks.

I do not have a hot water extractor/cleaner, so I do it by hand. My go to is Folex. Always do a test spot first, but spray Folex on the stain use a brush to agitate it. Then press a microfiber on the seat to soak up the stain.

Nav45- I've never used Folex, but plenty of people like it.

Noting that I don't drink/know from tea....isn't it one of those "tannic"-type stains? IF so (better research that), they make specific products for cleaning that out of upholstery/carpet. Look at the offerings Top of the Line has (link: Detailing Supplies, Car Accessories, Camping, Picnic and Travel Accessories online! Car wax, auto sun shades, professional detail products, pet travel, child travel, garage, tailgating and auto accessories. ) or call your local Pro Carpetcleaning Chemical store.

I'd use an extractor; I'd buy one if I didn't have it already....but it's easy for me to spend your money ;)
