Take Luck!
What's up guy's! Been gone for a few weeks... My wife and I calibrated our 10 yr anniversary :thewave: We took a Cruise (1st time) to the Caribbeans. :excited: We had a blast!!! We made stops @ Progresso & Cozumel.

In Progresso we took a tour of the Myan ruins and did a little shopping. I also got to see a guy detailing a car in Progresso! He was mobile and his rig consisted of a donkey :ass pulling a trailer. He was detailing a Ford Focus I do believe. It was quit a site to see... although I'm not mobile it made me appreciate what we have here in the states.

In Cozumel we did a bunch of site seeing a shopping! Got to do quit a bit haggling with the locals. The water there in Cozumel is beautiful! You can see strait down in the crisp blue water... in looks nothing like the water in Galveston Texas (no offence Texans) which is where we departed from.

I'm in the process of trying to upload pics... can someone tell me what a security token is?

No offense taken. We won't go to the beach there. We'll go further south to South Padre Island or east to Destin.

Really cool !!!!!

You go away for so long but only have 2 food pics?

Awesome. We took a cruise in 2008 to Progresso and Cozumel. Progresso sucked, bad. When we were there, the Red Tide was in and all the dead fish were washing up on shore. Def not a fav of mine. The locals were pushy and rude. The best part of that stop was getting back on the ship to get out of there! Cozumel was a blast. We did snorkeling and clear bottom canoes. Beautiful. It looks like you took pics of the same thing I did, lol. The interior of the ship and down to the bottom, and the local attractions. Looking to cruise again this year. We live in Texas, but opted to drive to New Orleans to leave from there. I was up for a road trip!
What ship were yall on, the Ecstasy? We were on the Fantasy. Fun times. Will always go on Cruises now, just maybe one of these days, one that doesn't allow kids. Parents had no control over their kids and let them run everywhere.

I think the best part was sitting on the back of the ship at sunrise, watching the sun come up and the dolphins jumping behind the ship.
I wont crowd your thread with my pics, but here's one....

We were on the Ecstasy Big Tex. I recommend everyone going on a cruise @ lest one time in there life. The wife and I are cruise aholics now. I also agree with you about Progresso :( not a hole lot of fun. Had a bunch of woman trying to give massages... 1hr for 10 dollars :passout:.

Were are you guy's looking to cruise this year?

I'd be happy to go on the same cruise. Progresso is a new Port, so it's not built up yet. We took a tour of the city on one of those double decker buses. We sat up top and almost got taken out by a few tree limbs and power lines.
The way of living there was sub par at best. They had rain barrels on top of their houses (shacks) fort he source of water, since they had no plumbing. For security fences, they had broken glass bottles cemented to the top of the walls.

I'd like to do an Alaskan Cruise, but up for anywhere really. It's just plain relaxing!

Both my parents and my Brother and his Wife did Alaskan cruises (not the same cruise -- don't recall if they were the same cruise line or not), they all enjoyed it. I've been to Anchorage, but by plane, and I was working, so it wasn't the same. :)

No cruise for me, Mrs. Clean doesn't want to. She's pretty certain about that too, so...we go to the mountains and I fly fish. My feelings are too hurt. :)
