Was waiting for my boss to meet me at location in a subdivision when I see this lady begin washing her Explorer...



Yeah, the WHOLE vehicle with that broom. Wheels, trim, windows, paint..ALL OF IT!

Not to mention the frequent drops on the driveway to pick up the hose..



All right, I tried to get a really good picture of her doing the paint, but her very young daughter was standing in the garage, and I didn't want to seem too suspicious..LMAO

It could only be worse if it was a black Explorer. :( Makes you want to call a detailing intervention!
 
Not quite as bad but the other day I saw an elderly gent washing his Ford Fusion with a kitchen floor sponge mop. :eek:

That was my first thought originally, and it very well may be. But she was definitely not using it with any respect.

Using it like sweeping dirt off the sidewalk..haha



Also, I'm not a fan of boar hair washes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My Tim the Toolman Taylor comes out, get a power broom attachment for your weed whacker. Yes, Stihl and a few others make a split boom system where you can add attachments like a broom, tiller, edger, etc. Bet that will clean er up!



I can see somebody thinking, hey, maybe get one of those foam drum things that Bud was pimping and use the drum on the power weed whacker attachment instead of the rotarty broom, what a concept! give you a 8 foot reach, no more stooping down, or climbing a ladder! Hey Billy Mays here and I have a detailing revolution for you!!



Seriously, anybody that makes this damn thing, you owe me royalties for the idea.

You forgot the best attachment. Attach a wool pad so you can get rid off all the scratches from 5 feet away.
