Creating shade for detailing off a van

In talking the other day I again came back to thinking to myself has anyone created a smart idea to drape something off of a roof of a van in order to cast shade below for the cars being worked on? I have a GMC savana and I am not one to store a tent in my van to add to the cluter and wieght. There are hardly any times where I cannot work in a garage or in the shade but I do find that every now and then I wish there was something I could be using to spare the headache or sunburn. :think:

couldnt you get one of those awnings you see on the van conversions?? they also have them on rv buses. they roll up and extend off the side
