I just have to shake my head and laugh at these!
 
oh let's see here, pretty much everything everybody else mentioned. My Dad refuses to use soap on his Harley for fear of stripping wax. I've showed him on my own truck. Washed a panel with Meguiars Hyper Wash, the water still just beaded right off.



Whenever I run into someone who "thinks" he/she knows what there talking about, I just let them talk. In one ear out the other.



I've already had one guy tell me to use straight 40 oil in my truck so it lasts a long time and it won't burn oil as the engine ages. Riiiiiiiiight.
