Crapped out Corolla

ill be doing the same on a newer but very very neglected paint. I may either go the easy way: Megs cleaner, #9, NXT, or go the long way home :IP/FP, AIO/SG/#26

Ill be using a PC so I wont expect as good results as yours but Ill post some pics.

Well i started out using that little black and decker orbital buffer and the 3m compound and it just wasnt cutting the all clearcoat scratches quick enough. I kept having to make a bunch of passes over the panel. I finally got out the rotary and that took care of business quick! It was actually my first time "really" using the rotary. I just made sure i kept it moving at all times. I feel pretty comfortable with it now.

I have too many vehicles now. This, a 94 celica and a 93 3000GT... Trying to sell the corolla and 3000GT now. Im going to keep the celica. I want to buy a MR2 turbo. I really like toyota's :)

I know how you feel, I got a grand national, dakota 5.9, and a cutlass. Trying to sell the cutlass to do some work on the GN (3 cars is unneccesary). My buddy has a turbo MR2, actually he's had about 4 of them, they are bad azz little cars. Good luck finding one though, 3 of his had to be shipped from the the other side of the country b/c you just can't find them anywhere. After driving in his I would like to own one myself, things are actual pretty quick, last time I heard his was running high low 13's on 93 octane.

I may pick up some of that compound for my BEAT-UP 87 cutlass. I'm going to need a good compound to fix the mess on this paint. Did you say you got the 3M stuff from Walmart too?

yeah..walmart has the 3m compound.

Mr2 turbos are hard to find. MY roommate has one and a guy down the street has one also. They are really neat and fun cars. The guy down the street runs mid 13's with just a boost controller/ intake/exhuast...not too bad.
