Craigslist is like the most entertaining thing to me. Some times I honestly feel really bad for these people because I picture someone like Cletus from "The Simpsons". Here's an ad I just found I thought I'd share:

99% of the craigslist detailing ads I see are advertising to be the cheapest. At least he didn't do that. But most just simply aren't very well written...

Wow, looks like Hooked on Phonics failed again... His eherm, "services" are rather interesting. How can someone put up an ad for their business with such horrible English?? I mean, I laugh my a$$ off here when the Hungarians try to translate things into English and totally screw it up, but that's different because they're foreigners (well, some of these companies are extremely big so shame on them, but...). Who would actually call that guy??

I can't believe he doesn't know what side of the state he's on! LOL

A nice member from here that I had never even communicated with alerted me that someone in Jersey was using my pictures to promote thier craig's list business...

Jason, that sucks man.

Tell me about it...

I called him, the pictures were down from the time I walked back to my PC...lol

I dont think he even imagined I would find out about it... gotta love how close the "net" makes things!

SO you made me look at my local craigslist, turns out there's like 4-5 ones that are pretty pathetic sounding, and one that sounds decent.

Funniest part is there weren't ANY car audio install ones that sounded decent, lol.

There's a local guy on a local forum that is a porter at one of those luxury car places on Woodward. He claims to be a "salesman" but if you knew this kid you'd know he's lucky that they even allow him to touch these cars. Anyway, he's always posting on the forum all of this knowledge and "articles" he writes. I always find the articles online written by someone else and he just copy and pasted. Then I post the link to the original. LOL

CL is always hit or miss. All kinds of people selling and buying. I posted $200+ motorcycle boots. I was asking $175. I got an offer for $50 shipped. I've sold a few motorcycles on there but like 1 in 50 replies are serious buyers. The rest want you to give it to them 50% off the asking price.

So true... I stumbled onto the lamborghini-talk forum through the Apollo detailing hack job and saw some guy named "Pro Detail" copied the write-up I posted on a few forums explaining the detailing process and posted it on there after formatting and taking my info out... I posted to see where he got it from and the guy disappeared...

People are weird. Why lie?

I sold a truck to this local kid. It was a 94 Sonoma. It had a custom paint and was lowered. My cousin did all of the suspension work for me. My cousin runs into the kid one night and compliments him on the truck. The kid said thanks. My cousin asked who did the drop work and the kid said he did everything. LOL WTF?! He brought the truck by the house one day and caught me outside working. The truck sounded like pure butt. I asked what was wrong with it and he said nothing that he added a super charger from a Typhoon. I asked to see it and he said the hood was broke and would not open. I did not have the heart to tell him I knew the noise was just an exhaust leak from some crappy muffler he threw on it and that the Typhoons where turbo and not supercharged. I just let him continue lying and he went on his way. Then I ran into him about a month later and he was truckless. I asked where the truck was and he said it was in the shop getting air bags put on. I ran into his dad, who owns a local restaurant, the next day and mentioned the work being done on the truck now. He had no clue what I was talking about and told me he took the truck away from his son because he gave the kid the loan to buy it from me and the kid never paid it back. The dad sold the truck! LMAO
