It was a small stone chip (less than the size of a dime) - I took it to the glass co. that State Farm sent me to, and they repaired it at no charge to me.
Of course, I can still tell where it hit, and it drives me crazy. The good thing is, it's on the passenger side. It's more visible from inside the car than from the outside.
I guess I can live with it, considering I still have a factory windshield (with a factory seal). But as an Autopian, it drives me crazy!
If it cracks, they will put the cost of repair toward the new windshield (they charged State Farm $50 for the repair).
