Alright! I've surfed this forum for a week :bow , I think I am ready for my first proper detailing in Sunny Singapore. Cover me, I'm going in! Mission should be accomplished by next Sunday and the target is my Black (Colour Code 209) Toyota.

Here's my brief. Went to Meg's distributor and picked up

Meg's Deep Crystal Car Wash - Sealant / Wax safe I was told :secret

8" DA Pads by Meg's - W8000 & W9000, along with MF buffing bonnetts

Meg's Detailing Clay C2100

Meg's #26 Yellow Wax - Liquid form, couldn't fimd paste form in Singapore

Friday

1) Meg's DCCW 1st Round

2) Meg's DCCW 2nd Round with Meg's Detailing Clay

3) AIO with W8000 - buff off with MF bonnet

4) HGSG - WOWO method panel-by-panel to minimise elbow grease

Saturday

1) Wash using water or with very very little Meg's DCCW

2) HGSG - WOWO

Sunday

1) Wash using water or with very very little Meg's DCCW

2) HGSG - WOWO

Allow HGSG to cure for 7 days :chill:

Next Sunday

1) Wash with little Meg's DCCW

2) LSP 1 layer of #26 - Apply with W9000 and buff off with MF bonnet. I tried looking for highly acclaimed and good value P21S or S100 in Singapore but to no avail. Maybe next time

I will using :waxing: a DIY-d velcro backed BnD WP900 Random Orbit with 4500 opm. Very worried :sosad about the low speed but just didnt have the time to hunt and buy a PC 7424...ah well...will just take my time to get it done. I've been using my arms till now :bawling:

PS : Suggestions/comments are very welcome :bigups Pls give some pointers.

Question :secret : Can #26 be layered?

Wish me luck guys! :bestwish

I believe 26 can be layered but I was wondering why are you waiting 7 days between coats of SG and 26?

I read that before applying anything else other from a HGSG that it takes that long to cure....lemme check again where I saw it....
