Couple of simple questions for tomorrow's detail.

Hi,

I'm detailing my friends silver BMW 325ci tomorrow and my 325i in a few days. Could you please answer the following?



1) Do I need to tape anything off since I'm using ZPC, ZAIO and ZCS?

2) How do I use Poorboy's Trim Restorer? Do I need to tape the paint off from the trim?

3) Can I use ZPC with a white polishing pad and follow it up with ZAIO and a finishing pad?

Nope

Apply, let dry. Not sure about the paint.

Sure, but you could just as easily use the zaio by hand IMHO. With that said, I have used ZAIO via a finishing pad and it works great.

ZPC will not stain.



Try ZCS on the black trim instead of TR. Works great and you won't have to worry about getting TR on the paint.
