Yeah, I oughta clarify...while some might think it's a waste of time, I tape the plastic parts off while I do the adjacent metal panels, then untape them to work on 'em. And I'll sometimes feather the trigger of the Makita when I'm doing them and I keep the pad's direction moving "off" the edges as best I can.
But if somebody wants to stick with a PC/Cylo for the plastic I sure won't criticize them for it.
