Counterweight on PC?

I plan to purchase a PC in the not too distant future.



I've read posts mentioning a counterweight. I have a few questions:



1) Is that an additional accessory?



2) If not how much does it cost?



3) Do you need one if you're using original size backing plate and pads?



4) How do you install it?

Order it from www.coastaltool.com and the 6" counter is included for pads bigger than 6.5" and the velco backing plate is included too, it would normally cost another $20 to buy these. It's an awesome deal!

Thanks for the info. I searched a little better and found out how to install it.



One last question ... Does the counterweight have 5'' or 6" stamped on it?

Yes the counterweights are labeled.

Well, I can't work out how to change the counterweight in mine... Can't get any screwdriver bits to fit!



Any ideas anyone?

PS what's the little washer-thingy for?

Mathew...the screws are torx screws, T15 from what I've read. If you have some metric allen keys, they will also fit. For the washer see this
