COUNTERWEIGHT: I already did a search, still confused.

OK, I have the PC 7336SP.



I have the Meguiar's backing plate and Meguiar's SoftBuff pads.



Is my counterweight correct or do I change it?

READ the size scribed on the weight. It should say 5" or 6". This must match the size pads you are using, 5" or 6".



I suggest everyone should have both a 5" and 6" weight in their toolbox. They are only a couple bucks and take like thirthy seconds to switch. I do so when I use different size pads.



It makes a difference with the smoothness of the machine and will affect the life of the bearing of the machine and the quality of the finish due to the amount of vibration. It's IMPORTANT!
