Could Ferrari Dealer Washes Really be as Bad as the Others?

LOL, that's what I do too when I drop it off! In fact, I make them write it on the service sheet.

I went in and waited to get a faulty sensor replaced. The service guy asked if I wanted the car washed. I said no and he said "it'll take 5 minutes, they'll bang it out." He asked another guy if he wanted a free "hand wash" and the guys eyes popped out of his head with excitement as if he won a prize or something.

I just chuckled.

Nice work.

Yup, you'd be surprised at some of the detailers they use to clean up there cars. I reciently did a full correction/show car process on an old 1960 F car at a F shop and next thing I know they're calling me to come clean up there other Ferrari's and now they will be using me exclusively to clean up there cars.

At least one Ferrari/Lambo shop is doing it right around here.:woot2:

I would call that dealer and lay into them hardcore that is BS. we are not talking about a damn honda it is a ferrari!

Charge that dealer your fee to fix there screw up!

i agree with you whole heartedly but there is a problem. unless there are pictures of the car in nonswirl condition right before they washed it there really is no proof they swirled it up. that will be their defense. your best bet would have been to say something before leaving the dealership.

The dealer don't care what it looks like as long as it clean. They don't want to pay the money for quality detailers do their work. Just get it done and out the door.
