ok, so does anyone still use these ??

if so do you have problems with them smearing products upon removal.

if you guys still use them, what are your washing techniques.

i only have limited MF towels and need to get some more.

I haven't used my terry towels for paint work in a while. They just aren't absorbant enough compared to the MFs.

If only to hold you over, I've got a few Costco brand MF's that I'm happy with. You should be able to pick some up for very little coin.

I second that about the Costco MFs. They cost about $10 for 16 of them and they are high quality. They have a very high fiber density and I haven't had any problems with them linting.

Yes, I still use cotton terry towels and I do not have problems with them smearing products upon removal.

For washing, I simply add a pint of white vinegar, along with detergent and a small amount of bleach. The white vinegar helps to cut thru and remove built up polish and wax residue.

that is some good info on washing/upkeep

do you put them in the machien or do you soak them in a bucket. i usually soak them in detergent in a bucket first then rinse and then they go in the machine,

and no i do not use dryer sheets or fabric softner :xyxthumbs
