Corvette Paint Correction

MirrorDetailing

Customer had been wanting me to do some work on her vette for the last several months. Everytime we planned it out she had something come up on her end and had to cancell. Well, finally everything worked out and she was able to drop the car off with me this weekend. Went with my Mirror Package as she wanted her vette to shine.

Paint was not in bad condition, normal amount of swirls around the whole car. Driver side had a number of holograms in the paint from pervious bodyshop work.

Anyways...the pictures...For the befores, dont mind the parking job...Customer decided to be different and park partially in the yard. :lol

Paint before. Friday was overcast the whole day, so was not able to get the sun on the paint for some befores. So bright *** LED light has to work.

After everything done. Sitting in the garage waiting on Melina to come pick it up. Could not do any 50/50 shots of the paint as blue is a real hard color to capture the defects against each other on.

Now after everything was fully done. Pulled it outside as Melina said she was ten minutes away. So while I was waiting...

Nice work! Absolutely hate the way those wheels look on the car though....

Thanks. I was not a big fan of the wheels either when she first put them on. But the more I see them, the more I think they go well with the car. Its not your useal Heads/Cam car thats meant for all out power. This one is more for looks.

Thanks everyone! Mike is the man! Even tho he HATES ME! I'll replace that plant Mike. LOL

By plant if you notice the driver rear before, as she was backing up through the yard, she ran over a plant lol.

Great work on a car that can be a difficult correction. That Corvette paint can be hard as a rock.

Yeah, I have done enough vettes to know the clear is hard as a rock. Luckly M105 and a Uber Yellow with the Dewalt at around 1600-1800 rpms cut through the swirls/scratches with ease.
