Worked a C4S yesterday, did full correction on it, was suffering from 6 months of poor hand and machine washing. I washed it in Dodo Supernatural, clay bar'd it then I used my rotary with a Sonus 4 inch white pad and Menzerna Final Finish and was amazed how well the car came up. After an IPA wipedown I applied Swissvax best of show.
Ive been valeting for 10 years and correcting now for about 6 months. When I am doing my correcting, I never have the rotary over 1500rpm, and rarely put any pressure through the machine. I know this is probably wrong, but it seems to really help in not creating and swirls or holograms, and I do get the results I want.
When is it right to put pressure through the machine and should I be doing so to do my correcting quicker as a car always takes me about 10/11 hours!
Thanks for any comments, always appreciated!
