Hello everyone, new member here and already I have a question. To start, I recently purchased a 2004 black Seville and have been using OTC products for the last two months (DG 111, S100, Reflections Spray, AW and a couple of QDs). I have some minor swirls and decided to give ClearKote Vanilla Moose Glaze a try (I ordered a package deal that also includes the Carnauba Moose Wax). I‘m currently on the fence regarding the purchase of a PC, so for now all my products are applied by hand.
The VMG arrived today and the brief instructions, on the bottle, basically indicate that I should apply it in straight lines (I’ll assume that means in the direction of the air flow). It doesn’t indicate whether I should be applying any pressure when applying. I know this product contains some mild abrasives, so I’m thinking that I would be applying pressure to work the abrasives.
Has anyone used this product by hand that can offer some advice ? The instructions didn’t indicate that it needed to be removed after application, but I found that answer on one of my "Detailing Product Discussion" message searches … that you could apply the product to the entire car before removing (buffing ?)
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide …. Tom
