1998 Chrysler and a 1997 Jaguar

Interior ...

#2...

Sorry I still cannot figure out how to post multiple pics on one post!!! Help me Tascar Tim !!!

That Jag is sweetttttttttttttttttttttt

Both cars look great I did a Chrysler much like that some time back.

Cars look great! To post multiple pics, just click the IMG button and paste the URL in the blank, click "ok" and click the IMG button again, repeat the same process. It will look like a list of URL's. Does this make sence?

I always start with cleaning the inside with APC, on the leather I use soap and water soloution in a spary bottle.
The Vav, it up and shampoo the mats ansd carpets. Then finish the car with a dressing. The windows I leave until I'm done with the whole car.

Thats VERY similar to what I do. Except I clean the leather with Lexol Cleaner. And everything else, I use a 15:1 APC sollution.

But I dress everything except leather with Vinylex, could this be my problem?

Do you like to clean the Interior first, or do the Interior after you wash the exterior? Or does it matter?

Great job on the cars, they look awesome? By the way what extractor did you use? if any. I shopping around for one, I'm mobile so I need something that's light and can fit in the back of my Durango.

Here's a Photo of a convertable we did on Saturday.

When I detail a car after the wash I do the jambs and then do the inside up to the windows. Then attack the oputside and last do the windows.

No matter what I do, I cant make an interior look like that. I dont have an extractor, so the carpets do not look near as good as they could. I really wish I could take a detailing class on interiors. There is something I am doing wrong, I just cant pick it out.

Interior...

Dressing...
I always use Stoner's Trim Shine after used their Trim Cleaner. I have a Mytee Lite heated extractor and I estimate I used it on over 150 cars and its still works perfectly. I paid about $800- $900 for it and I had her serviced for $60 this year. Stoners really works well for me and it saves me a lot of time. The Trim Shine is so easy to apply and wipe off !!!.

BTW .... The Jag was awesome !!!!

Did you use trim cleaner and shine on the entire interior? Or different products for different areas?

Leather...

I use Rightlook.com leather cleaner and Lexol conditioner. I love Rightlook's leather cleaner !!! I have Lexol leather cleaner as a backup leather cleaner, but I don't care for it's consistency and I find it more difficult to work with. In the door jambs I use Simple Green followed by either Stoner's Speed Bead or other various spray waxes... On guages and wood trim I use Invisible Glass and a clean MF towel.

I love Trim Cleaner and I agitate this product into all the interior nocks and crannies with about 5 differents brushes. Trim shine is so easy to apply and wipe away excess, and it never gives off that greasy high shine appearance that some dressing leave behind even after buffing.

Carpets and upholstery... Auto Magic HD cleaner diluted 30:1. Then extract.

man those are some sweet looking jags. great job as always dean.

i use stoners as well. i have yet to find something that trim cleaner won't take out. basically if the trim cleaner won't remove it, it ain't comin' out. i just ordered a 5 gallon pale of trim shine for my personal use today. i am going through tons of it and decided it would be much more economical buying the big pale. not sure how different it will be without the aerosol can though.

when you post pics do you upload them from your computer straight to dc or do you have them hosted somewhere else? the way i do multiple pics is to host them on some of my website space and link them back to dc.
