Continue to Be Amazed at M205!

You got me excited too! I've had the 105/205 combo since early winter and have been waiting for the snow to disappear and a free weekend to go get my shine on!! I've got 3 vehicles in dire need and no telling what the Harley looks like since it's been covered all winter.

Pearl paint is pretty strange, I agree. Some pearlescent paint jobs look like one big, giant hologram to me, in the right light.:out:

205's an awesome product. Meguiar's 105 and 205 are an incredible combo, there's not much they won't fix.

One quick hint: Instead of "6 passes" with the 205, get yourself a bottle of 105 to start with. One, or two passes with 105, followed by one pass with 205 and usually... you're done!:) A lot less work for you.

Funny you should mention that, I was thinking the same thing last night when I was about 1/2 way around this car. When I got the 205, I was a little afraid to get any more aggressive, but after seeing how easy this 205 is to use, I'll be placing an order for 105, very soon.

I got the Buick done last night, 205 followed by BFWD, looks awesome. I need to hit the rims again with the Zaino AIO, they were pretty oxidized, so a second coat is needed. No pics yet, I'd like to wait until tonight or tomorrow afternoon, the sun is supposed to come out.

Another big  for the 205 and BFWD!

Well, the pictures suck, I didn't realize that my DSLR was in DC with my wife!!! But, I snapped a few with an old crappy point and shoot. These pics DO NOT do it justice though. The sun was perfect if I had my good camera, but it was just way too much for this crappy one. Anyway, here you go. I didn't put a coat of Midnight Sun on it, I just haven't had time. I may or may not get to it tonight or tomorrow night.

I continue to be impressed with the results of the Zaino AIO on the GM Chrome Rims. These were oxidized VERY bad and one coat got 95% of it off the first time. I will go over them again to get the rest, but I like it a lot for that application. This is the third set of GM chrome rims I've detailed with the AIO with great results each time.

Enjoy the pics, thanks for looking! Don't mind my busted up driveway, that was going to be replaced with my tax refund, but having to pay in this year really threw a wrench in that idea!!

Well, I went ahead and topped it off with some Midnight Sun, but I can't tell a huge difference. Although it is in my garage with average lighting, so it's hard to tell. It is super stinking slick though, I know that. I was glad to see someone post this morning that that put Midnight Sun over the entire car, then go back and remove. I hate doing a panel at a time, it seems like it takes forever.

Looks good Zack... I can see that your blood is starting to run "Black" (Fire!)!!!:Dancing Dot:

HA! Yeah, the stuff is really amazing. I love the results it gives you, but I also really like that it's so easy to use, very, very good stuff!

Car looks like it turned out awesome Zack! I bet the MIL won't even believe it's her car! :D

I'm just hoping it's not raining when she goes to drive it home. I'd like for the FIL to see what a detailed car looks like!!

I think I am going to win Father of the year, husband of the year and son in law of the year, hands down. My wife is in DC all week, so I've been home with the kids, juggling them and also working all day. The house is immaculate, the clothes are clean and put away, the dishes are clean and put away, the toys are picked up, I spent hours each evening detailing the MIL's car and today BOTH kids are home sick!!!

It's been a trying week for this guy, for sure!!! I'm ready for my better half to be home:partaaay:
