D) Cleaning Ability- The ability of the glass cleaner to cut through heavy soiling, bug splatter, and/or smoker's film is the most important aspect in selecting a glass cleaner.

Ease of use right here!. I want something that works very easily and does a good job. I have always hated doing windows so having something that is easy to use and works well is a must for me.

Ease of use.
No-one wants streaky windows.A product that cleans well the first application, will save alot of grief later.
I hate when you clean the windows in the garage and they look perfect, then pull the vehicle out in the sun and there are streaks everywhere

:iagree:

I now use the halogens at an angle when cleaning interior glass... the inside gets wiped left/right, the outside gets top-to-bottom so I know where the streaks are.

If bugs and serious grunge are an issue I have tools and products to deal with that.

If protection and beading is wanted I have Aquapel, Rain X and other products to apply. Especially inside, all I want is sparkling clean glass.

I could care less about a product's scent as long as it isn't offensive. The good smelling stuff doesn't linger long anyway.

Price point isn't an issue for me, it isn't like I go through drums of the stuff.

I would have to say Cleaning ability is the most important. Obviously a product that doesn't clean well isn't going to stay on my rack. I would have to say I adjust my process or procedure around an excellent working product. If were just talking about cleaning windows i dont think many products are "harder" to use then others, at least not in my opinion. I've had some that streak a litter more and require you to modify the process of which it is applied or removed. But thats why the cleaning ability is #1 for me!

I chose cleaning ability, but I feel ease of use also plays a part.

It must be able to remove debris from the outside of the windshield and other glass surfaces, and be able to cut through the interior film too. One the aspects of glass cleaners that I don't like is how "good" they clean, but how poorly they are removed. Even spraying/dwelling, and then removing, followed by buffing with a dry towel can leave streaks/hazing the next day with certain cleaners. So not only the cleaning ability, but the ability to finish clean and not need additional attention.

I would say cleaning ability first and ease of use second. When you get into some hard to clean place then have to do it again and maybe even a third time the thrill is gone.

Cleaning Ability: If my glass cleaner doesn't clean the glass it's worthless. So this is the most important part. But Ease of use is a very close second. I don't want to spend large amounts of time to get the glass to finish streak free.

D Cleaning Ability. The number one reason to use a glass cleaner is for its ability to cut through grease, fingerprints, smoker's residue, bugs etc. The better a glass cleaner performs this task the easier it is to use.

For me it's all about the cleaning ability. I use sprayaway simply because I can get it cheaply at Sams Club along with old cotton sheets.
