i work in insurance claims...we check previous losses on the vin of the vehicles

valentines day 2015, an insured`s husband committed suicide in the vehicle (carbon monoxide and gunshot)
there is a huge narrative from the spouse and its quite sad to read, honestly I wish I would not have read it now

so the moral here...the sad truth...that doesn`t show up on carfax, and that specific state doesn`t brand total loss vehicles,, SO

the vehicle was auctioned off and purchased by (ironically) another one of our insureds, who now filed a claim for something else (which is why I found out about this in the past)

isn`t that terrible? that as a consumer, you wouldn`t know that.. I guarantee you the new owner has no idea about what happened in that vehicle, and probably never will.

wow, I think I need to find my safe place for a little while now

this job can be quite depressing at times

That`s awful Brandt.

I might have nudged a fellow car club member into guessing on a Fuzion spray wax sample giveaway I was doing for my local clubs meet and greet Saturday in exchange for an entire pumpkin pie.

We colluded via Facebook.

I have my weaknesses

But I once mistakingly grabbed blackfire interior cleaner sample bottle and sprayed it on my windshield and wondered why the glass.cleaner smeared like no other!

I still use the tire gloss.

Yeah still available. Got an email from them a few days ago...

Ah, OK..thanks, good to hear that. I can be sooo out-of-touch.

I have a bottle of Z16 that has lasted what seems like forever.

Same here! I bought a case of it *years* ago and I still have one bottle left for the S8 and the Jag. Simply love the stuff, probably switch to that one DuraGloss if I ever use it up.

Confession- I just posted a terrible reply to the "Fixing Rust in the Engine Compartment" thread...couldn`t seem to articulate anything to my satisfaction :(

I just had two basics reschedule this morning and I`m super happy about it because now I can make a Lockhart bbq run with some friends :)

Still have neighbors moms car this evening but thats easy.

Yesterday, before I left for Giant Eagle by myself which I rarely, rarley do anymore, I felt an intensity come over me as I pulled into the parking lot. I spent 3.5 hours in the store and only had four bags of grocery stuff. After coming home, my wife asked why I was gone for four hours. I told her she was crazy because I thought I was only gone for 1.5, or 2 hours max.
After shopping and headed back home while trying to exiting the parking lot, a couple honked at me for taking their right-of-way. They then proceeded to pull along side of me, roll their window down and start yelling at me for honking back at them. Here`s the confession: I totally lost control and started yelling back immediately in a very violent manner. I demanded that the husband get out of his vehicle so that I could stomp on his throat and make him bleed. If he had gotten out, I probably would be sitting in jail right now. My "illness" comes over me like a banshee headed for hell, and I am seeing that I am capable of doing something I would deeply regret.
Maybe, I need a vacation to Florida...

Changing the oil on a 2009 Yamaha R6 is a big pain. And don`t use a K and N oil filter, the nut on the end doesn`t allow the shifter to be reinstalled.

That sucks, how is it on the Kawasaki? My Ninja had everything easily accessible from the bottom and no disassembly of other components was required. One of the reasons I never wanted to upgrade was that larger bikes seemed like a larger pain to maintain, I did all my maintenance on mine effortlessly .

I know a guy who`s one of the nicest people, and doesn`t even like confrontation.....but goes nuts when it comes to road raging , he even threw a milkshake at someone one time.

EXPDetailing- Hope you get a handle on that before something tragic happens. There`s simply nothing good about letting one`s emotions take control.

How so?

The only hassle I had on my GSXR was having to remove the fairing(s) to change the oil. It wasn`t bad once you got it down.
