concours vs. pinnacle

lbls1- Hmm..I do the big vehicles piecemeal without problems but I dunno about that ss metallic lacquer on the Jag and the RX-7 :think: It's problematic enough as it is and I don't want to botch things up...the paint on the Jag looks mighty uneven/blotchy just due to age/etc. and I wouldn't want to make that more obvious.



Perhaps by the time I'm ready to do those cars things will have calmed down a bit with the dogs/etc. and I can actually spend a little time on this stuff....time beyond the strictly necessary. Heh heh, at one time I really *did* enjoy detailing certain vehicles, honest!
 
Maybe I can cut a little slack in this case. I can understand if you have a large suv and you desire to give it a good lsp (dare I say zymol), then doing it by sections may be an option that's workable for a busy schedule. Taking a whole day to do detailing is a thing of the past for me (except for the annual polish prep). If the day comes where I may one day buy my dream suv (The trailblazer ss), it would be hard to imagine that I would not put my premier lsp on it.



Now all of these questions you have about your original surface and a potential lsp can only be answered one way..............

There does seem to be quite a selection these days. Since I'm not 100% happy with Souveran or Concours, I've been trying to think what wax might be a good compromise between the two.



I've marked Swissvax Concourso off the list now because the description of given earlier of "two inch thick clearcoat" for it's look turned me off. I'm wondering where CG's Pete's 53 fits into this whole thing. :nixweiss
