I dunno if they're still making them. The guy (fellow named Leo) pretty much dropped off the planet after some (uncharacteristic for him IMO) serious customer-service complaints. Serious enough complaints that you might want to rethink the whole idea for that reason too.
Hey, I like cotton for some stuff. The way it, uhm...absorbs water (as opposed to the way MF adsorbs it- basically it's that cotton soaks it up within the strands whereas MF holds it between them) often makes it preferable IMO. BUT I'm marred paint with those towels that MF does *not* mar, and IMO you can generally do better just sticking with MF.
I can't really think of any reason to pursue this even if you do find somebody who still sells 'em.
