I usually use a circular motion for the first pass, then use a straight, unidirectional motion the second pass (up/down on vertical pannels like doors, etc. , front/back on flat, level pannels such as the hood, trunk, etc.)
A friend has just bought a new Conan Blue 2011 Mustang GT, and asked me for advise on the wettest looking wax, sealant or combo. The color is a dark blue metallic. I like BFWD, but thought maybe someone found just the right combination for this particular color.
Thanks for any input!
If you want the absolute wettest look possible, use an acrylic based glaze like CG EZ Cream Glaze or Wet Glaze2.0 before BFWD. After the second coat of BFWD, top it with BFMS.
You will be amazed at how wet the paint will look. Also, remember that the lsp will only look as good as the prep work lets it. Prep is the most important step in attaining that "perfect finish".
