Complete Vehicle degreasing/decontamination information

Hello:

I am looking for information on what products to use and how to properly apply the product when

doing a full decontamination to a car/truck.
 
for general degreasing washing with apc will accomplish that.



for decon there several options for this my choices would be finish kare decon kit or the valugard abc kit. there are some newer products on the market like iron-x. i feel that the decon kits will remove more types of contaminates than one step products like iron-x.
 
My best suggestion at this point is to do 2 searches ('degreasing' and then 'decontamination').

I see accumulator talks about the Valugaurd ABC system quite a bit when it comes to decontamination, so is say that's a pretty good bet. I've never felt the need to do a full 3 step decontamination though. Claying works well for me.
 
Detailer's clay will only abrade what is above the paint surface, leaving what has penetrated the clear coat to become a conduit for corrosion
