Well, after a long days work I am extremely happy with the results. My Z is a 91 with 120,000 miles on it. The paint is in excellent condition. Here is what I did:

Dawn Wash

Clay - Clay Magic

Wash with Megs GC

#83 DACP on Megs Polishing Pad

Menzerna FPII on Megs Polishing Pad

#7 Show Car Glaze on Megs Polishing Pad

Pinnacle Souveran by Hand

Not too bad for 15 year old paint, huhh? I really love Souveran. Its my first time using it and It really is worth the price. The exhaust is a Specialty-Z Labree Cat-Back.

Thanks and enjoy!

Wow!!! the black 300zx is one of my favorite cars ever!

Every now and then, I still think that I'm going to buy one.

...but then I remember that I have no money. :(

Nice job, post more pics please. I'd love to see your interior.

Souveran rules. How's the exhaust sound? How does the exhaust measure on the SOTP dyno? :D My bud had some kind of cat back on his N/A Z car and it sounded pretty nice. I think his might have been Greddy???

Nice job

Thanks! I really owe it all to you guys for helping me in all my posts about what combo to use on my car, etc. Also, I ordered the Menzerna-Souveran kit from CMA and they sent me Menzerna Intensive Polish instead of FPII. I emailed them and they said they would send me the FPII at no charge and I could keep the IP. Just had to spread the word on their great customer service!!

Great job, and cool car. It reminds me of the one my dad used to have, except silver. He gave it to me for a couple weeks to help him try to sell it since he lived in the country and I lived in the city, and after having it for two days, I ended up busting the engine and transmission mounts from racing. :o This was a long time ago, and I was very careless in those days.

Awesome job on the Z. I have a 92' TT T-top next week to detail and I hope the paint is in as good condition as yours is.

Awesome work!!!! Really throuty exhaust too. It sounds awesome.

the quality of paint especially for a japanese car is very high indeed, that looks superb dude!
