Competitor for AIO??

I currently use AIO on almost every car I do. I use it as a middle step, between the abrasive/swirl remover, and before the LSP, no matter what it is...

Just wondering if you guys have found something equal to, or better than AIO for this purpose..

Oh, and cheaper is always nice too!!

thanks

Maybe Autoglym Resin. Slightly less chemical cleaning ability and slightly more polish (very mild). CMA said it is the English version of AIO (German)

Or VM

I like Megs ColorX.......Great chemical cleaner and polymer protectant....I think it actually lasts longer than NXT !

So, you can top ColorX with a sealant like Blackfire or Zaino with no ill effects?

what about Moose Wax ? or Moose Wax Hand Glaze ?

They work great but there are some sealants that won't bond to the oils in them. As far as I know, AIO is fine under any sealant.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. SRP is a little more forgiving of an imperfect finish too, doesn't seen to highlight light marring quite the way AIO sometimes does.

For some reason I just like using SRP :nixweiss

Scottwax I have been looking at the Grojet but it is hard to work out what type of product it is. Is it a polish or sealant or both

Grojet2000 is as close as AIO as it can be. Like AIO in the US, we use Grojet here for almost everything. You wouldn't tell wish is one or the other side by side.

Edit: One huge diference, I sell grojet at 14.95 euros for a liter ;)

What Jose said. You can use it as a stand alone one step if you wish.

That kinda answers the thread in the UK Retailers sticky I guess!

GB anyone? Prices on the Grojet site seem pretty good to me and I'd be interested to back to back Grojet against Carlack/SRP.

I'll start a GB thread:D

Meg. ColorX for me.I've had Z2 over it since Sep. and it's still beading and holding up thru this nasty winter here in the NorthEast.:up

Stoner's Polish & Seal? Haven't read a comparison report, but anyway it's very cheap.

I'll second this one. It's similar to AIO and very easy to use. I've been using it for about a month now and I like it a lot.

If this is indeed true, then Megs ColorX is a good alternative for the AIO as base for the Z2 Pro, considering the fact that ColorX provides sharp and clear reflections.

Have you applied any product on top of the Z2 since Sep.?
