comfort level

Today had a little free time and was thinking about detailing as usual. As you guys know I do this on a part time basis for the past 5 weeks I have been averaging 2 full details per week which feels very satifying to me because I am able to give these cars my full attention and I'm not over doing it. Folks are dropping their cars at the shop in the evening and picking up the next evening which virtually gives me 24 hours to make them look great now I ONLY USE 4-5 HOURS LOL. I turn on the radio have a cold soda or bottle of water close at hand and go at it. As far as my question what are the comfort levels for some of you other detailers in terms of #of cars per week please share.

Not sure about cars, but for boats we did 100 hulls (bottom part) in about a month, and the topsides (top half), we are getting about 6 a week in, plus about 15-20 washes in as well. Just thought I would share. haha

1 full detail a day, 5 days a week, or 1 wash per hour and a half.

To bad I dont have a single detail booked... :(

As much as I would like to expand my business (and my wallet) by working more, I am very comfortable with working on 3-5 cars per week. I think this winter we may get legit and open up a shop doing stealership details; so we may bump that number up to 4 "full" details a day with one employee and I working.

if one person is detailing.....my goal is to do 2 light to moderate details a day.....or one heavy interior detail day
