ColorX durabilty?

I seem to have grown quite fond of Meguiars ColorX and use it frequently (every 4-6 weeks or so) on my black Hemi. Recently I did a thorough detailing on my daughter's silver 2002 Tacoma. After claying and application of ScratchX where needed, I used ColorX because I had time only to use a cleaner/wax product. For sure she will not be wax it once a month (or even once every two months).

My daughter lives in Minneapolis so it will be a exposed to some pretty harsh winter stuff. However the Tacoma is garaged every night in an unheated garage and is driven perhaps three or four days a week.

What can I expect for durability of ColorX under these conditions?

Since it's garaged at night, and not driven everyday, maybe up to two months :nixweiss But the protection will probably be completely gone by then. So, I'd also suggest to top it as soon as you get the chance. Maybe you could give her something like NXT spray wax? It's so easy to apply with a MF applicator that she might even use it ;)

ColorX is not great in terms of durability, but as a cleaner wax it is absolutely top-notch. Usually people top the ColorX with something more durable like Collinite, Zaino, etc... I would assume that your ColorX will last around 1 month, or maybe more, since you said it will be garaged.
