Collonite 845

It does not stain. As a matter of fact I used it to dress the plastic on my Mom's CRV. I applied it fairly heavy to get it to penetrate the texture and came back and buffed it off. This was over a month and a half ago and it still looks good.

That's the great thing about waxes like 845, 476S, #16, is you can pretty much go over all surfaces with them.

Yeah, though I always like to add a "YMMV" caveat about the 476S and #16; they sure seem trim-friendly *IME* but others have reported staining (same with P21s too).

If in doubt, use the W-O-W-O method for the initial application(s) as it seems to mitigate various LSP-on-trim issues to some degree.

Is that more of a "paste caught in the texture" issue?

Yeah, as best I can tell. If I'm not careful I get heavy-paste-wax residue in some spots (lettering on taillights, along PPF edges) and I figure that's often what's going on with the textured trim too. I also figure that's why the W-O-W-O seems to help as it gets any excess product off of there before it can set up.

But some people make it sound like plain ol' LSP-on-trim staining too :nixweiss

So I just feel a little better having put the YMMV disclaimer out there ;)
