Collonite 845 users please step in

Does anybody else notice that 845 seems to ruin your microfiber applicators after a few uses. Mine will get very rough and fail the CD test even after cleaning them out good and washing them.

If you do not use a mf applicator to apply your 845 what do you use?

I too use foam, but I don't always get all the 845 cleaned out of it. Still, no problems *once I reprime with more 845*.

Used a microfiber applicator today to apply 845. Used too much product with the microfiber, as opposed to when I used a foam sponge/pad. I prefer using a microfiber with a hard paste such as 476 or 1000P, but with liquids, foam works better for me.

After using a new microfiber applicator, and washing it, I use it for tires, etc. Due to the reason you mentioned, greater chance of scratching.

I would guess they wear out depending on how much abrasion they see.
