Collonite 845 ruined?

I have a bottle of Collonite 845 wax that I've been using for about a year. Last weekend though, I took it out and noticed that the liquid had gotten very, very thin. Almost the consistancy of water. I had used a little of it last month and it was fine. I suspect that it thinned out due to sitting in my detailing box for a couple of days in 95-100 degree heat. Applying it to the pad, it it's the color and viscosity of 1% milk.

It seems to still apply and buff off ok, but I'm concerned that the solution may have "broken" and that it might not be "good" anymore. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I just buy another bottle?

Funny mine started out as a paste but liquified while out on a hot day to a watery consistency and never resolidified again. Sounds normal. You can always put it in the fridge to resolidify it again though.

One of my bottles of 845 that got pretty hot has stayed thin, but it's still working like normal. No problem IMO as it just means I don't have to shake it up so much. Try it and see if it performs OK.

Common misconception.

845 IS supposed to be thin like water. I had to let mine sit in a sink full of hot water to break it down from its paste-like status in the bottle.

Thanks all. It does seem to work OK. Was just weird. I'm used to having to shake it well to thin it out, but it never got THIS thin.
