Collinite845 / FK 1000P

Depends on the look you're striving for. BTW, those are two of my favorite waxes on silver.



#845 seems a little warmer and wetter. FK1000P more of a candy shell bright synthetic look.



Both are VERY durable.

Agree 1000P is my favorite on paint “in winter� and 845 best on wheels after VM.



Why would you need to top any of them? any one of them will do the job,

if you want the appearance of an extra clear coat layer

P1000 3 times and you will be blown!
 
I'd lay down the 1000P first because it is fully synthetic. Then the carnauba blend, and you're OK.



But experiment, and tell us how it went.

I'll be surprised if you find anyone here who's done just one layer of both and left it alone long enough to fade away. ;)
 
Hmm, well I'm considering ordering some 1000P and would be interested in hearing how just 1 layer of the stuff holds up(I'm not into multiple coats of stuff).

Don't ask for the impossible!

You know better than a QD and a spray Wax is good maintence. and P1000

won't let you down, and you will know it is there because it beads like no other

sealant. Just make sure you notice the beading in your next wash

after applying P1000.
