Collinite IW?

I was wondering a few things about Collinite IW. Reason is I have a boat to do this weekend and it will be my LSP. I know that it has no cleaners which means it can be layered. Does layering the IW add to the paints gloss and depth? How long do I have to wait between coats?

I would not attempt to layer IW. It has a very high solvent content so you'll just be wasting your time.

I'm not much of a fan of "layering", but I do usually make two applications of a product to assure complete coverage. Those applications might be within a couple of hours or a couple of days, depending on circumstances and product.
I can't say that I have noticed any real difference in appearance either way. As far as durability, the IW seems to be thought to have plenty, but I don't usually leave things a lone more than 4 to 6 weeks so I can't comment on long term durability.

I'm surprised at the comment about high solvent content in the IW. I wasn't aware of that.

Thanks Charles! I was not aware of the highsolvent content either. Do you think it would effect the sealant that I applied before. I'm using Danase Paint Sealant which has an instant cure time.

While I'm not familiar with any of the Danase products, I don't think it would be a problem.
Remember, I'm the guy that didn't even realize IW was a high solvent product. :)
I have used IW over Klasse AIO, Meguiar's #80, Poorboy's PwS, and Optimum Poli-Seal and all of the combinations seemed to work good. In each instance, the IW was applied within an hour of the previous product.
