Collinite IW--does it attract dust?

Thanks Sherman8r44 and Bence. Is it worth finding the new formula (my local retailer still has a few bottles of the old)? Is there a difference in performance/look, or is the change purely for new VOC regs? TIA.

The changes were made because of the VOCs. The durability should be the same according to Collinite. They've changed the solvent.

The Euro version of the PC, the Flex X1107 VE (same company; two brands) costs $425 here. I am considering the import of a rotary from China (not a cheap one; although the price is very low) and a PC from the US.
 
To answer your questions from my first reply. No Paste isn't any harder ro remove than wax, as long you don't apply it to thick and let it sit too long. I prefer the Paste over the liquid, because after a properly prepared paint surface I think the paste is eaiser to use and has a wetter deeper look to it. And for spray wax or QD. YES you can use it right after collinite has been applied or anytime after. I have never noticed any ill reflects from using spray wax or QD over collinite.

I use Collinite on my rims since they are painted and I love the affect. They shine better and they hold the brake dust down. Even if they do get dirty all you need is water and car soap to clean them. The dust doens't stick to them.

Panel at a time. It can dry pretty fast and then you'll need a belt sander to remove. With thin layers it is very easy to remove. And a terrific product to spit shine! (#885)



For the IW you can go farther. It won't dry as soon as the 885. If you are quick enough you can do the whole side with it. 845 spreads unbelievably, so that's no biggie. Removal is a breeze too.
 
if it a car I'd do the hood front fenders and bumper. then wipe that off. then the roof and doors. then the trunk and rear quarters. then i'd do the wheels and door jams. one little tip here dress the tires and weatherstrip in the jams then wax the rims and jams with and old applicator and old mircofiber to buff it off. This way any dressing that got on the rims or jams will be removed by waxing. It also depends on how fast you are and temp and humiditity. high temp and humid then it will dry faster. cooler and lower humid then the more time you have to take it off.
