Collinite Insulator Wax No. 845 (IW845) for Engine bay?

Can I use it on wires, covers, and painted areas in the engine bay?



Any durability issues?

You got me thinking, they should make a high temp wax! That would be great.

845 was originally designed for electric insulators-(I'm assuming they get hot) it should work in the engine bay but I think there are spray products like CD2 that probably would be easier to use.

845 was designed to have electrical insulation propertis but I don't think it was designet to be electrical insulator
