I applied my second coat of 845 today. The temperature today was 75 degress, and I let the bottle sit in the sun while I washed the car and cleaned the interior.
The product seemed to be REALLY thin and milky looking. I shook the bottle for seveal minutes, and then I applied the product. This is normal correct? The product applied incredibly thin and easily! I used WAY less of it on this coat. It was difficult to tell if I got complete coverage though. When I got finished the car was SLICK and very shiny!!
Today was the first chance I got to wash the car after the first application.
I've been busy, and we've had quite a bit of rain and even some snow and ice. I noticed the road film and grime was easier to come off now than with any product I've used in the past. The car was still very slick and still shiny after a wash.
I was a little disappointed in the beading on the top surfaces of the car though. The beads were still very good on the side, but the beads were really "fat" on the top surfaces. I was hoping the beads would stay tighter longer based on what I've read here, but it didn't happen. Hopefully the 2nd coat will help with that.
Sorry to dig this up from way back, but I didn't want to start another Collinite topic.
