Collinite Durability

Yeah, when I tried W-O-W-O with Collinite the durability suffered a bit. Just put it on nice and thin and let it dry to a haze.

As a suggestion, you may want to apply Collinite first (after prep) and then top it with whatever other lsp's you're planning to use. The idea is to put the most durable product on first.

Collinite 476S was really a surprise for me. I think it's a great looking wax in that it delivers a nice shine. In terms of application and removal, I think it is a pain in the butt. But, that's because I am used to applying and removing P21S! My solution was to put a microfiber bonnet onto a pad, apply 476S all over a vehicle, remove everything with the MF bonnet and the PC, then go over the vehicle one more time with a MF to touch-up the areas that you missed. Just to give you an idea, I waxed an entire Honda Pilot in 20 minutes using this method with 476S. I recommend the stuff to anyone.

I just used some 845 for the first time last weekend on my '01 LS430. If this stuff is as durable as everyone says, I've found my wax.

FWIW, I live <1/4 from the beach and the salt air gets on everything. I'll gladly trade the shine of the P21 for a longer life between waxings.

ALso, the shine is quite good for a "duration wax".
