Collinite consistency?

I just got my Insulator wax and was surprised at how water it is? Is this how the Insulator wax is or do I have a problem. I specifically got because I need to use it Wednesday on a boat. Any suggestions (speed and which Edge pad) on appling it w/ the PC? Thanks!

Shake it hard for at least 2-3 minutes. It should be like a thin, creamy consistency, not watery like, well, water.

Perfectly fine!

PS: After reading BMW's reply, it must be a bit confusing. So, it is far from a paste, yet it can be a thick paste after a longer settling time.

However, the normal "working" consistency is a surprisingly thin liquid. Creamy, but not lotion-like. Thinner. So I think your is perfectly fine - that's why I wrote it.

I have used it and it as good as advertised. I have a dark blue honda odyssey and if you apply a heavy coat ( I know thicker seems better, right?) it will take you forever to get all off. I still haven't got it all off the roof ( but who can see it up there anyway). I applied it by hand and wiped off by hand, so applying by PC might be easier (I don't know if thats true). It truly is the idiot-proof wax in that if you apply it to something that you normally don't wax (trim, tires, windshield, chrome, etc.), no biggie comes right off without a problem.

845 works real nice on wheels too. I don't really even need to scrub the rim. Just a wipe and the brake dust it gone.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking...mine (both pre/post VOC) gets *really* thin if I shake it long enough. The first time I saw it thoroughly shaken up I realized that I'd previously quit shaking it too soon. At least until you get familiar with the stuff, I'd shake it for a few more minutes after you're certain it's ready, you might be surprised at how much thinner it gets.

Yeah, like others have mentioned, shake, shake, shake! When you think you are done shaking, you probably aren't. Very impressive wax, especially on light colors. Just remember to apply thin and let it fully dry, or else you might get a little smearing. I still have at least 65-70% of my bottle left and have used it at least 8 times
