Collinite 845 IW, pleasantly surprised!

845 IW ("Insulator Wax"), collinite probably also made pulling lubricant but I would assume it is a different product.

No the rmg and nb were still on it one week old. I do not know how it looks by itself... I also dont think I will ever know how it looks without a glaze underneath, I love glazes and will never go back to not using them.
 
Update: it seems now that the RMG has worn off (2 weeks and 2 washes with many QDings in-between) the 845 has lost it's depth, darkness, and wetness.



Its definitely still there, during the wash today the water basically fell off the car by itself more than when I use other products. But the look isn't there.



Maybe what I should do is use 845 for protection and then top it with a beauty wax for looks.
 
I like 845 but I don't love it. Really wet shine, great on light colors and metallics but a little 'bright' for my tastes on dark, solid colors , plus after 3 months on a Hummer it was getting a little grabby. I know I am in the minority here but I prefer #16.



Maybe 845 topped with Natty's might get you what you want, Ron.
 
I'm lazy and I love 845 for the fact that I only need to apply bi-annually. I've been using the FK 425 QD to keep the dust off and give it that nice shine.

Same general observation/opinion here. Not knocking the 845 though, and #16 is getting so scarce that I don't even recommend it any more.
