Collinite 473 - New look!

He spoke of "people who are always dressed up". To me he's talking about always being dressed formally, as in, suit and tie. Hence his reference to politicians. That's not your typical blue collar worker. That's not a criticism, just an observation.

Ah okay- I think I was kinda reading in between the lines too much. I was also kinda thinking it might have been an indirect jab at a competitor too, like Barry Meguiar, who we often see in a nice suit or nice golf shirt. I met him, and even if he was just playing the part, he was still rather nice. I bet the Collinite folks are really super easy going, casual people.

Autopians who've talked to them on the phone in the past speak very highly of them. Very open about product ingredients, etc. Not your typical manufacturer.

I read they sent flip top lids for 845 for those who had trouble with it spilling; that's nice customer service.

I suppose asking them to send a few to me in Western Australia would be stretching the friendship. :loco:

You never know unless you try, maybe you'll catch them on an especially good day.

Gotta say that I kneejerk to  when somebody uses "blue collar" as an accolade or "always dressed up" as a pejorative.

Yeah, that was my experience.

That sums it up perfectly. The products speak for themselves and they really don't need anything else in terms of their ad copy. Other than that, maybe just having those flip top lids standard or the occasional shift in bottle material, only in effort to make them even more durable. That's about all I could think of.

Wow, yeah I'll say. He kinda looks like a bit younger version of my 103 year old neighbor with a fedora and a jacket. That man ( and I suspect Mr C too) is an old school class act!
