Coin-operated carwashes?

When I bucket wash at a coin op car wash I do it on the clock. I'll put in several quarters...a couple three dollars worth, wet the truck down bucket wash it and put in more quarters if necessary. IMO it'snot right to expect them to let me use the stall free especially if it's a busy time so it's on me to keep the clock running while I wash.

Well, unfortunately since moving to Indiana I no longer live in an apt complex that has a car wash bay. Now I have to go to a coin op place to wash.

Where at in Indiana are you located?

I'm in Indy! I live in Avon (right on the Marion Co/Hendricks Co line).

I'm confused about the hoopla from using buckets. The coin-op I've used for years by my apt. has never said a word about it.



I would think that since I'm actually using 3 cycles worth of money, and NOT using any soap or other supplies - the owners would be HAPPY? More money - fewer supplies to buy - just water.



'Course, I also have my bucket washes down to a science and usually don't occupy a bay for more than 7-10 minutes at off-peak times during the weekend.
