I love treating my car to the hurricane like blast from those coin-op hoses. Like another poster mentioned I take my own bucket, soap and just about everything else I just use their water/hose. maybe it's also the narcissist in me because I always get compliments on "how shiny" my car is from others washing their cars.
That high pressure water is great for the under carriage and wheel wells.
Some of the weird things that i've seen a number of times i see people pull into the wash bays just to smoke weed in their car (very common). One day while trying to keep cool on a hot summer night I was at my local coin-op at 10p and a few bays over heard a couple going at it (sex) in a suburban.
And if you can do it in the garage, there's no wind. I enjoy washing my car in the winter with QEW. To a point I guess. Once it gets below 20*F in my garage, I don't like it so much anymore.
